Having trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, I wholly commit myself to God.  My faith in Him should be evidenced by my commitment to Him.  As a member of the body of Christ and the Mt. Calvary family I am committed to God and this Church.

Mt. Calvary is a place where I come to worship, minister, grow and share.  By the aid of the Holy Spirit I am committed to walk together in Christian love and strive for the advancement of this Church in knowledge holiness and comfort.  Sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines.

My membership at Mt. Calvary brings privileges and opportunities as well as responsibilities and obligations.  As a member I am expected to maintain an active Christian witness and support the work of the Church.

I will protect the unity of my Church by acting in love toward other members; by refusing to gossip and following our leaders.  I will share the responsibility of my Church by praying for the Church; praying for the Church’s growth; inviting the unchurched to attend; warmly welcoming those who visit.  I will serve the ministry of my Church by discovering and using my gifts and talents; being active in the mission and ministries of the Church; developing a servant’s heart. I will support my Church by attending regularly; giving regularly of my finances, time, gifts and talents.

I will engage in family and secret devotions; teach our children the Christian truths; seek the salvation of my kindred and acquaintances, walk cautiously in the world; be just in my dealings; faithful in my engagements; exemplary in my behavior; avoid all tattling; backbiting and excessive anger. I will abstain from the abuse of drugs and intoxication from all forms of alcohol. I will provide relief to the poor and engage in the spread of the Gospel to all nations.

I further commit to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior; to secure it without delay.

I also affirm that when I remove from this place, I will as soon as possible unite with some other Church (preferably of like faith) where I can carry out the spirit of this covenant and principles of God’s Word.
